A family-owned manufacturer with an office in the U.S.
Hengtai is one of three companies in a family-owned group. The factory in Liyang makes the parts; PRIM in California and Liyang Yidu in China support customers and logistics.
The group
Jiangsu Hengtai Electronics and Plastic Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006 in Tianmu Lake Industrial Park, Liyang, about a 2.5-hour drive west of Shanghai. The site covers 33,000 m² of land with 16,000 m² of plant area, and about 100 people work there.
The group is under long-term family ownership. Key managers have been with the company for more than 14 years on average, which keeps engineering knowledge in place for programs that run for many years.
