The United States is a country rich in innovation. Large corporations have their own design departments while small companies outsource projects to design firms. Most good design engineers are good at product structure design but are not very familiar with manufacturing processes and material selection. If the drawings are not carefully reviewed by engineers familiar with manufacturing processes, many problems may occur after molds are built, causing customers unnecessary waste and even delay in product release time.
 
Based on years of experience involved in new product development, Hengtai is able to provide customers realistic schedule. We will help customers prepare or review design drawings, encourage customers to make prototype molds, and further modify drawings after assessment of resulting samples.

For example, we used to develop for a customer a new project consisting of 46 different types of parts.  We selected 7 representative parts to make prototype molds and analyzed and summarized the shape, color, structure and strength of the resulting samples. After that we designed the production molds for all the parts and met production schedule requirement in time.
 
Over the years we have developed many new products for customers in the U.S. and Europe, for example, an umbrella with LED-lit handle, new lawn wheels (over-molding of two different types of plastics), dispenser (investment casting, injection molding and machining), face masks (optical lens, PU foam, water transfer printing), orange juice extractors (sand casting, stamping, injection molding, deep drawing, powder coating), meat tenderizer (zinc die casting, injection molding, stamping, machining, chrome plating, silk screening), vintage sandwich maker (aluminum die casting, stainless steel fabrication, wood handle with thermal insulation), multifunctional charger (zinc die casting and injection molding), new type of golf putter (brass die casting over-molded by PC/ABS with zirconia ceramics) , panels for molecular biology testing device (large insert injection molded parts with outer sprayed paint and inner conductive coating, silk screening) , stackable CD/DVD storing unit (transparent injection molding parts with assembly) and etc.
